Vice chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal visited Air Force Station Phalodi


Vice chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Kishan Kumar Nohwar PVSM VM ADC visited Air Force Station Phalodi today. He was accompanied with wife Mrs Anita Nohwar. He is an alumnus of National Defence academy and was commissioned into the Fighter stream of the Indian Air Force on 24 June 1972. He has 3400 hrs of flying to his credit. He has vast experience of flying the MIG-21. He commanded a MIG-27 Squadron. His previous appointments includes AOC-in-C Eastern Air Command, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans) and Senior Air Staff Officer, Training command. He has also served as Chief of Staff at Andaman & Nicobar Command and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Strategic Forces Command. He was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal in 1998, Param Vishist Seva Medal on 26 Jan 2011 and was appointed Hon’y Aide-de-Camp(Air) to the Hon’ble President of India on 01 Jul 2011.Group Captain Prashant Mohan VM, Station commander Air Force Phalodi received him and briefed about the ongoing works and projects at Air Force Station, Phalodi.
